depression? recession?
Here is an interesting thought. With all the talk about $4 gas and the recession we are hovering around I heard an intriguing line. Do you know the difference between a depression and a recession? A recession is when your neighbor loses their job. A depression is when you lose your job. I ran across an article on the Great Depression today. In 1933 during the worst part of the depression the unemployment rate reached 25%. We are around 4-5% right now. Pretty amazing how bad things must have been. That's my happy thought of the day.

Hello my friends. Lots of interesting things going on down here in the Peach State. Jody thought she had found her practice and has been working with the same doc for the last 8 months or so with the intention of buying him out. The last month or so it started going south and it just didn't work out. We picked up her stuff last week and now she is back to doing Urgent Care and Occupational Therapy side work for the next month or 2 while we get something setup with the hospital here in our area. We are still pretty encouraged though and it is all going well. We are cruising around looking at office space and vacant buildings so we can find something that would make a good practice building. We'll find something soon.
I'm at work right now so I don't have any pics handy to put up but I have some new ones of the boys. Jody and I would love to have a little girl too and then call it all done on the having kids department but we are going to have to wait awhile. Joey P called a couple months back and told me that they were expecting so I gave up having any hope of catching them now.
They were already up by 2 and now going on 3 so I guess I'll go ahead and concede. Of course, we could always have us some triplets next time around and then we'll be right back in this thing. I better not jinx us, that would put us in a world of hurt.I hope everyone is enjoying their Spring. If everything goes like we have it planned we'll be at June CG. hopefully I'll see most of you there.

if you get a chance to go to Disney World in August you may want to skip it. Wow, it's 100 in the shade. We still had a good time, it just took guzzling cases of $2 water bottles. We stayed at the Wilderness Resort and Lodge and got the park hopper tickets. Monday at Animal Kingdom, Tuesday at Magic Kingdom and Epcot, Wednesday at MGM and Magic Kingdom, and Thursday at Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Yep, a lot of Magic Kingdom. It was Jody and the boys' first time so we had tons of stuff to do. We took Mom, Dad and Rachel so that we would have some help with the boys and a few evenings out to ourselves. Worked out great. There is a restaraunt on the roof of the Contemporary Resort called the California Grill and their Buffalo steak medium rare was to die for. I ate like a pig on the trip and still came home skinny. Probably had something to do with 10 miles of walking a day in 120 degree heat. Oh yeah, packing around my boys since they thought it was more fun with me carrying them than riding in their strollers. Here are a few snap shots. I have too many pics to slog through all of them so I'll just post a couple.

While in Montana I had an open day and I wanted to try out the river tubing. Everywhere you go in Missoula there are rivers with people kayaking and tubing and I wanted to do some tubing. Mike Streit and his little boy, Josh, picked me up and we went tubing. Had a great time! I managed to snag a picture with my cell phone that turned out ok.
